Minimoog Model D

First released in the early 1970s, the Minimoog was the world’s first portable synthesizer and served as the archetype for all electronic keyboards that followed.  The instrument was used by Dr. Dre, Kraftwerk, Vince Clarke, Gary Numan, Trent Reznor, Depeche Mode, Blondie, Rush, Toto, Yes, Vangelis, Pink Floyd, Joe Zawinul, Chick Corea, and Herbie Hancock.  Photo Credit: Moog.
